Meet Zach Engledow
Operations Manager at Trident Restoration
Zach Engledow is the Operations Manager at Trident Restoration, where he oversees fire, water, and mold restoration projects for property owners throughout Riverside and the Inland Empire. He has worked in the restoration industry since 2014 and holds three IICRC certifications: Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), and Applied Structural Drying (ASD).
Over the course of his career, Zach has worked on more than 1,000 claims involving residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal properties. Before and during his time in restoration, he also spent eight years as a licensed insurance broker in California and Texas, giving him firsthand knowledge of how policies and claims work. For the homeowners and businesses Trident Restoration serves, that combination of field experience, technical training, and insurance knowledge means working with a leader who understands both the damage in front of them and the claims process that follows it.
Education, Certifications & Continued Training
Zach's approach to restoration is built on formal business training, industry-recognized technical certifications, and years of continued learning. He earned his bachelor's degree from Vanguard University with a concentration in organizational management, a background that directly supports his work coordinating crews, timelines, and multi-phase projects. His IICRC certifications cover the core disciplines behind Trident Restoration's services, from drying out water-damaged structures to remediating mold.
Throughout his career, Zach has also attended and taught at webinars, seminars, conventions, hands-on training events, and classes, staying current on restoration practices while sharing his field experience with other professionals.

Hands-On Restoration Experience
Zach's roots in the industry run deep. Growing up, he worked alongside his family in construction, restoration, and property management, gaining hands-on experience that continued until he graduated from college. Since beginning his professional restoration career in 2014, he has handled claims across a full range of property types and damage scenarios.
- Residential homes
- Commercial properties
- Industrial facilities
- Municipal properties
- Fire and smoke damage
- Water damage
- Wind damage
- Mold growth
The scale of Zach's work varies as widely as the properties themselves. His projects have ranged from small toilet overflows to extensive fires that burned and smoke-damaged entire school campuses. Some jobs wrap up in a single day, while others require up to a year of coordinated work to complete. Along the way, Zach has managed both small and large crews, keeping each project organized from the initial assessment through final repairs.
That experience informs every job Trident Restoration takes on, whether a family needs fire damage restoration after a kitchen fire, water damage restoration following a burst pipe, or mold damage restoration in a hidden crawl space.
Experience on Both Sides of the Insurance Claims Process
Property damage is stressful enough without having to navigate an insurance claim alone. From 2011 to 2019, Zach worked as a licensed insurance broker in California and Texas, an experience that gives him a clear understanding of policies, coverage, and the documentation insurers need. Today, that knowledge complements Trident Restoration's practice of accepting all insurance companies and working directly with each customer's insurer to restore their property.
Having an Operations Manager who has worked on both sides of the claims process helps keep communication clear between property owners, adjusters, and restoration crews. For customers, it means fewer surprises, straightforward answers about what to expect, and a team that knows how to keep a claim moving forward.
A Family-First Approach
Outside of work, Zach's priorities are clear. He loves the Lord and cherishes time spent with his wife and children. That family-first outlook fits naturally with Trident Restoration's commitment to treating every customer's home like one of its own. When a family is displaced by a fire or dealing with a flooded basement, Zach knows the situation is about much more than drywall and flooring. It is about getting people back into a safe, comfortable home as quickly as possible. That perspective guides how he leads crews in the field and how he communicates with the property owners who trust Trident Restoration during some of their most difficult moments.
